VastPark.com is due for an overhaul. A brand new site will be going up in February.

We'll also be opening a site dedicated to helping you use VastPark with a community wiki, source code repository and forum. Watch this space...

My response to Merries is that this is our serious attempt to ensure there is much more documentation available. It's coming now because the platform itself is a lot more mature and so much of the core underpinnings have been stable for quite some time. There is currently an update to the core code framework which doesn't actually affect worlds that have been built or are in development and much of the documentation here is explaining about the new core framework. The one that's still in v0.98 has served us for 3 years and this new one is likely to have at least a similar lifespan as it includes recent concepts suggested by Intel for parallel processing in game frameworks. All in all, we've always wanted to offer good documentation so that developers can be confident to adopt the platform. That's what we're really wanting to work on with this website.
