Hi Rahul,

There was some documentation on this at one stage but the link no longer works :s

You have 2 options:

  1. Sign up for an Amazon S3 account here: http://aws.amazon.com/s3/ - they are very cheap!
  2. Request a demo publisher group here: http://www.vastpark.com/index.php/company/contact-us/melbourne.html

The demo publisher group will use some of our shared storage (also on Amazon S3) but it may be 24hrs before the guys in AU catch the email. If you sign up for an S3 account you'll be good to use it immediately.

Hi Craig

Thanks a lot for the quick response.I have two more qureies

1) When we publish the files, is it hosted to the local VastPark server which we have installed in our local machine? or is it hosted to the VastPark server which is located in the internet?

2) I have installed the VastPark server in my PC and configured the folders named client, server just as explained the video. And copied the StartPark file(file which is displayed when we open the creator) and pasted it in the folder named 'client'.When I copied the url of that file from the server and pasted it in a browser,"Page cannot be displayed" message is coming. What can be reason for that? When I right clicked the path of StartPark page from the server and clicked on the option "View Output" a message box is displayed by stating that "Output file does not exist".So is it due the absence of this output file the hosted page is not displaying in the browser?

Thanks & Best Regards,
Rahul.

The files get indexed in the public Metaforik server (you can choose to make them private to your group, should you have a publisher group) and uploaded to AmazonS3. The entry in Metaforik points to the assets which are stored on S3.

You can paste a link like that directly into the Player where it will be rendered. If you paste it into the browser, you'll need to append the port to the string, ie: http://localhost:8278/startpark/

Note that this will only show you the IMML for the world, we don't current have a browser based plugin. Also note that StartPark is a basic single-user sample. A multi-user sample exists here
