VastPark developer zone

I was wondering if anyone has any recommended tools or tutorials for creating plant life for use in Vastpark. Since we are generating for DirectX I imagine mapping would be a bear.

Is it also possible to look at a sample model file of a tree already in the Vastpark Library so I can see how it is put together?

Any thoughts?
