Main Hall Feature on our Blog

Basically we are working on the Main Hall (original concept by Merrie, from right here on the Vastpark forums). Matic Mirnik and Ray Allen built the core models, optimized them and then applied the test texture image (the checkerboard pattern you see now).

The Main Hall is where visitors will first arrive in the demo. It is the social center of the Visitor's Center. The center's main purpose is to act as an entry point and information portal for the project. There will be a total of 6 rooms: The Main Hall, the 3P (Planet Postmoderna Project) University, the Testing Room, the Boardroom, the Studio and finally, the Launch Bay (where visitors will transport to the first POI of the Vastpark Demo, Base Camp).
