Xmpp/Sip Compliant?
Added by Andrew Chapman over 1 year ago
I have downloaded the VP Server, which seems to function ok. However, our own company has produced a bespoke xmpp/sip compliant server software, is it possible to use that in place of the VP version? W expect to have to tweak things with the code, or create an interpreter, but if the VP version isn't complaint, no point pursuing.

Absolutely. Look in the List of public plugins and you'll find a Skype plugin, a basic SIP client plugin and VastVoice. You can use the SIP one and connect it with your backend or create your own entirely. Given that so much of the platform is based around plugins, you can extend the platform however you like. Hope that helps as far as the business question is concerned but you might want to follow up with our team on the technical. If you want to organize a time to chat, grab me via Skype and I'll set it up with one of our developers.
