What is Collada?¶

COLLADA (.dae) is a royalty-free XML schema that enables digital asset exchange within the interactive 3D industry.

Collada and VastPark¶

VastPark uses Collada as source format for 3D assets. There are a wide range of modelling applications that support Collada, but as it is a complex format the Collada output that a DCC tool produces may have some slight incompatibility with VastPark.
