Configuring the VastPark Player for a Proxy Server¶

To set up VastPark to use your corporate proxy server settings:

1. Open the VastPark Player
2. Select “Tools” from the Menu bar and then choose the “Network” tab on the Options window that pops up
3. Enter your proxy server information and hit “Ok”
4. Close VastPark Player

The Player should now be configured to work.

Q: How do I find out my office proxy server settings?¶

A: You should talk with your IT team or you can try the following steps:

1. Open your web browser (We will assume this is Internet Explorer)
2. Select "Tools" from the Menu Bar and choose "Internet Options"
3. Select the "Connections tab and click the "LAN Setting" button
4. Under "Proxy Server" view your actual Proxy Server name and port information. You will need to use this information to configure the VastPark Player using the set up process outlined above. If there isn’t any proxy server details listed in your browser settings then you possibly don't have a corporate proxy server and if so you should focus on ensuring you have the port access required to make the VastPark Player work.
