Debug dialog

The Debug dialog is the most commonly used tool for discovering the cause of your VastPark related issues. Here’s a quick rundown of the key sections.

In the first image you can see the debug window as it appears when begin loading a park. The top half shows the currently loading elements with their download progress indicated by the green loading bar.

In the middle of the window is the ‘Remaining to download:’ information. This information shows, in kilobytes, how much data is left to download in the files in progress and the rate of download.

The bottom half is the Imml console. In this example it’s set to display any errors that have occurred whilst the VastPark Player has been running.

At the bottom you can set how these messages can be filtered to give you the information you require. Error messages are often the most useful however there might be occasions when another category has information you’re looking for.

The Output dialog displays writeline messages added by the park developer to assist the debugging and testing or to help the end user better understand what the code is doing. Using these lines may help you identify the point at which your error is occurring.
