What is Maya?

Autodesk® Maya® (more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autodesk_Maya) offers artists an end-to-end creative workflow with comprehensive tools for 3D animation, modeling, simulation, visual effects, rendering, matchmoving, and compositing on a highly extensible production platform.

Collada Exporter

While Maya has native support for exporting to Collada its exporter provides results unsupported within VastPark.

For exporting to Collada from Maya we suggest using OpenCOLLADA's Maya plugins.
You can download the installer from: http://www.opencollada.org/download.html

Once you've installed the Collada exporter, start up Maya and go to Window > Settings/Preferences > Plug-in Manager
Find COLLADAMaya.mll and tick the check boxes like shown in the below screenshot.
