License questions¶
The VastPark Open Specifications¶
The VastPark Free SDK¶
- Where is the open source code?
- You can browse the source code via the Repository tab
- You can also directly access the SVN at http://vastpark-svn.cvsdude.com/public/
- What is the license for the public source code?
- What is the End User License on all of the official public tools?
- The VastPark Player is under a Firefox-style End User License (EULA). This is a big advantage to commercial developers because they are free to distribute this application and they can create commercial plugins that they keep proprietary so they have no need to open source these plugins. Everyone benefits because it means that if you have installed the Player, you will be able to go to more compatible worlds over time.
The VastPark Commercial SDK¶
This is designed for commercial developers wishing to license all of the commercial addons as well as using the VastPark platform source code free of open source restraints. It is not needed by most developers wishing to create and deliver worlds for their clients. More information: http://www.vastpark.com/solutions/commercial-sdk.html
