PC Minimum System Requirements:¶
- Windows® XP (Updated with the latest Service Packs), Vista®, 7 (32bit or 64bit)
- .Net Framework 3.5 SP1
- 3 GHz Pentium® IV or equivalent AMD Athlon® processor
- 128 MB PCIe NVIDIA® GeForce® 6600 GT or ATI Radeon® 9800 PRO video card or better
- Must support OpenGL 2 and have a driver
- 100Mb of available space to install the tools. More space is needed for caching digital assets.
- 1 GB RAM (1.5 GB required for Windows Vista®/Windows® 7 users)
Offline usage (single user)¶
- No additional requirements (.pimml files can be run in the Player without needing network connection.)
Local network usage (single and multiuser)¶
- Network card and a connection to the LAN
Internet usage (single and multiuser)¶
- Broadband Internet connection
NOTE: The VastPark installer will automatically detect if the .Net Framework are missing and give you the option of automatically downloading and installing prior to installing VastPark. When you run the Player, it will halt and give an onscreen error message if it cannot detect OpenGL 2 drivers.
Trouble with the .NET Framework?¶
There are a few ways to test which version of the .NET Framework you have installed. The easiest is to visit http://smallestdotnet.com/ in either of Internet Explorer or Firefox and read the results shown in the yellow box with the title Your personalized results.
If you don't see something along the lines of "Looks like you have .NET version 3.5 SP1" (or higher), you should download and install the framework.
